Specs appeal. Not getting that job? Trying wearing glasses.

A recent study by the College of Optometrists in the United Kingdom found that wearing glasses just might make a difference in how an interview perceives a candidate.

A third of adults think spectacle-wearers look more professional, while 43 per cent think they appear more intelligent. And 40 per cent of those with perfect vision would consider wearing clear lenses if it would improve their chances of getting a job.

Realize, of course, that this study was done by people who make their living checking eyes and selling glasses! Nevertheless, it could be valid!
